Spa Koviljača is one of the most beautiful and curative spas in the Balkans. It has become a health spa at the time of King Petar I Karađorđević and he built a modern sulphuric bath next to his residence. Spa Koviljača was entirely built during ’20s and ’30s of 20^th century. There were luxury hotels and villas and a beautifully decorated park that connects all the spa facilities. Particularly beautiful and famous Kursalon has been the major place for entertainment since 1939. The first casino in the Balkans was opened in Kursalon.
