Kiseljak

Vitinički Kiseljak is a small and friendly town, just 24 kilometers from Zvornik. It is characterized by ecologically well-preserved environment, while in the central part of town, along the course of the small river Jasenica, there are nine mineral water springs which differ in  quality, capacity, curative properties and taste, and in many ways are unique in Europe. These water springs were discovered in the late 18th and early 19th century. They were named after the order of discovering and spring processing, from 1 to 9 (One, Two…, orig. Jedinica, Dvojka…).
Quality analysis showed that these waters contain potassium, sodium, lithium, calcium, strontium, barium, magnesium, iron, aluminum, manganese, chlorine, sulphuric acid, boric and phosphoric acid, acid silica and organic substances and trace of formic acid. Scientific tests and findings showed that according to its physical-chemical composition mineral water from these springs can be used for treating different diseases: gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, diabetes, anemia, inflammation of respiratory tract, kidney disease, diseases of the gallbladder and biliary tract, arterial circulation damage.
More than a hundred of years, thousands of people have used water from these springs for treatment of many diseases and experienced success in doing that. Good hosts live in Kiseljak and they are hardworking and generous people ready to welcome every visitor.
